RATIFIKASI ILO C-188

Jakarta,18 Mei 2022- Ditengah carut marut tata kelola perekrutan dan penempatan Anak Buah Kapal (ABK) indonesia untuk bekerja dikapal ikan asing,kami dari Serikat Awak Kapal Transportasi Indonesia (SAKTI) hadir dalam acara workshop “Permasalahan ABK Indonesia dan Solusi Multi-Stakeholder Terkait Peta Jalan Kesiapan Indonesia Meratifikasi Konvensi ILO C 188″Workshop sehari penuh tersebut diselenggarakan secara kolaborasi oleh Green peace Indonesia,Serikat Buruh Migran Indonesia (SBMI),Human Rights Working Grup (HRWG) dan Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) di Novotel Cikini, Jakarta pusat.

Dalam pertemuan tersebut dari perwakilkan Serikat Awak Kapal Transportasi Indonesia (SAKTI) ikut menyampaikan pentingnya ratifikasi ILO C 188 karena Indonesia menjadi negara pengirim ABK kapal perikanan terbesar dan juga memberi masukan dalam Workshop tentang perlunya pengawasan dari pemerintah dari mulai perekrutan dan penempatan ABK.

Belum adanya aturan pelaksanakan berupa peraturan pemerintah hingga saat ini terkait dengan tata kelola perekutan dan penempatan ABK sebagai turunan dari UU 18 tahun 2017 tentang Perlindungi Pekerja Migran Indonesia.

Dalam hal ini Serikat Awak Kapal Transportasi Indonesai mengirim perwakilan untuk bergabung dalam team kecil yang terbentuk dalam Worshop tersebut diwakilkan oleh sekjend Syofyan,keberadaan team kecil ini sangat penting untuk memastikan terbentuknya peta jalan menuju ratifikasi Konvensi ILO 188.
