Nahkoda Indonesia dan 14 ABK Selamatkan Tujuh Pemancing Malaysia di Serawak

Santubong, 15 Juni 2025 —Tujuh pemancing warga Malaysia menempuh detik cemas apabila terapung di laut selama kira-kira empat jam setelah boat yang mereka naiki karam di perairan utara Tanjung Po, Santubong, pada Sabtu pagi (14/6). Menurut informasi, boat berkenaan mengalami kebocoran dan karam sekitar pukul 11.00 pagi kemaren. Ketika kejadian, semua pemancing berhasil mengenakan jaket keselamatan dan tetap bertahan di permukaan air meskipun hanyut terbawa arus.

Beruntung, kapal Kontainer MTT Rajang yang dinakhodai Capt. Filemon Ady Trijono bersama 14 anak buah kapal (ABK) melintas di lokasi kejadian pada pukul 15.30 petang. Menyadari situasi darurat, Capt. Filemon segera memimpin proses penyelamatan dan berhasil mengevakuasi seluruh pemancing ke atas kapal dengan selamat.

Pagi ini, Capt. Filemon, yang juga merupakan anggota Serikat Awak Kapal Transportasi Indonesia (SAKTI), melaporkan kejadian tersebut kepada Sekretaris Jenderal SAKTI. Dalam keterangan resminya, Sekjen SAKTI menyampaikan apresiasi tinggi atas tindakan sigap dan kemanusiaan yang ditunjukkan Capt. Filemon beserta seluruh kru kapal MTT Rajang.

“Tindakan Capt. Filemon adalah teladan sejati bagi pelaut Indonesia. Menyelamatkan nyawa di laut adalah wujud solidaritas dan nilai kemanusiaan tanpa batas negara. Kami di SAKTI sangat mengapresiasi aksi sigap ini,” ujar Sekjen SAKTI dalam keterangan tertulisnya.

Para pemancing yang diselamatkan kini dalam keadaan stabil dan telah dibawa ke pelabuhan terdekat untuk pemeriksaan kesehatan lebih lanjut.

Peristiwa ini menjadi pengingat bagi seluruh pengguna transportasi laut mengenai pentingnya perlengkapan keselamatan, serta membuktikan peran penting para pelaut sebagai garda terdepan penyelamatan jiwa di perairan.
